The Friends of KCS
Christmas Fair 2011
King’s College School Wimbledon
Saturday 26th November 2011
11am until
4pm
Dear Stallholder,
On behalf of the Friends of
KCS, I am inviting you to apply for a stall at this year’s Christmas
Fair to be held on 26th November 2011 from 11am to 4pm.
Last year’s fair was our
most successful ever in terms of attendance and fundraising thanks to
hard work, longer hours, great weather and better communication within
and outside the school.
Please complete the booking
form as fully as possible, confirming if access to power is required
and return it to Patricia Connell no later than 15th May
2011. If you have a website or photographs or a brochure clearly showing
your products, please include them with your application form.
Applications will be considered
according to mix and variety of products offered and we will endeavour
to confirm whether or not your application has been successful by the
end of May.
We know that last year was
somewhat frustrating for some exhibitors who only found out a few weeks
before the event whether they had secured a space. This was due to unusual
circumstances, the school had some extensive refurbishment and we were
unsure about the amount of space available for our use.
The stalls will be allocated
in a number of halls and rooms across the campus at King’s College
School with many of the stalls located in the Great Hall to which access
is only possible via external steps. We will provide some assistance
with loading and unloading goods to this area.
All tables will be 6’
in length. The cost of hire of single or double stalls is as follows:
- Single Table £60 + 10% of takings on the day
- Double Table £120 + 10% of takings on the day (space permitting)
- Space for Rail £30 (rail not provided)
Please note that stallholders
may not bring additional tables or rails (except as booked and paid
for in advance) into the Fair. Rails will be facing inwards (at
right angles to the table) as opposed to taking a full table space.
Stallholders are advised to bring their own materials for decoration.
Note: This year,
stallholders will not be asked to donate a prize for the Christmas
Fair Raffle.
As usual, light refreshments
will be provided for stallholders, and tea and coffee as well as other
food items may be purchased on site.
Many thanks,
The Christmas Fair Committee,
Patricia Connell
